And one of those days happened to me, i am a family man and that is something sacred, i work many hours and with utmost dedication that you would get, and especially in the past one year it has not been an easy one. After pushing the body for over a year with no leave days, with pressure from work and other  hustles (read political), i decided to tone it down and take a breather. Last week i met a few people, casually called Fantastic, Don, Kirere and Sherry. The five of us settled on taking  a day off of our usual engagements and run around and see what Kenya has to offer. We should not let politics of personality shape Muranga county

Politics in Muranga seem to have started shaping as the country heads to the 2017 General elections. Political scheming and strategising has divided the county into two, Muranga South and Muranga North, visibly after the 2013 elections. The county, number 23, as of 2013 had about 457,052 registered votes with the south having a total of 284,950 and north 172,102 registered voters. From way back, Political negligence and arrogance, as well as inadequate attention to the people's socio-economic needs and demands have been identified as the main factors behind the ouster of leaders in the area. However, during the last elections, the whole county voted in the infamous 'suit' in that they largely voted for the Jubilee candidates.
