Ruto is free! Lets vote for peace in 2017

Deputy President William Ruto and Radio Journalist Joshua Sanga are free men! Yes, their cases at the Hague collapsed on Tuesday.
The ICC ruled on Tuesday that Ruto and Sang have no case to answer on the charges against humanity they were facing.
All this started in the 2007/2008 post-election violence that left 1,200 dead and at least 600,000 displaced.
Six Kenyans famously known as the 'Ocampo six' were charged with having led, or involved with the violence that shook Kenya to the core.
The six were the then Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta, Former Industrialisation Minister Henry Kosgey, Former Education Minister William Ruto, Former Cabinet Secretary Francis Muthaura, radio journalist Joshua Arap Sang and former police commissioner Ali Hussein.
Anyway on Tuesday, Chief Registrar Helena Vukasinovic said Trial Chamber judges found no incriminating evidence to sustain the cases against the two and 'meddling'.

This is news that was warmly received in the country with song dance and making merry.
However there are those who are yet to face the reality, that no one will be judged for the atrocity that took place and changed lives of so many Kenyans during the PEV.
Most Kenyans if not all were left with wounds that have not even healed despite national prayers and dinners by our politicians.
I know people who were at the helm of their lives that now live each day begging or in hospital beds because they found it hard shaping their lives after the attacks.
Others grew rich overnight by stealing and looting from innocent people.
Most people have tried to live with the fact that it was a sad phase which is gone not to return.

2017 ELECTIONS
The coming elections have attracted very many people for all kinds of reasons.
Some want to be rich because its known that lots of money can only be got when one holds a political office.
Others want to genuinely help Kenyans make their lives better.
Those who were either direct or indirect victims want to ensure they elect leaders in whose ideologies they believe in, all in the hope of finding solace and solutions to their heavy burdens.
Kenya is a rich nation, with lots of resources for us all, and I hope this can get into everyone's system so we live and take care of each other.
2017 will come and go, issue is where will we be left as a nation?
Think before you vote. Do not cast a vote and later on complain, make a wise decision. More importantly, have your voter's card ready if you want to change your life.

Pray to God, and Congratulations William Ruto, you are a good man!
