This is a normal day for everyone, you wake up, smile, check your Whatsapp messages and reply, then off to the shower.
After that you then pack a bad of your usual stuff; a charger, earphones, notebook, pens, a camera and the water bottle that is making headlines.
Knowing you will not use that bag for the day.
That is a fast-forward from September 3.This hot afternoon I am sitted at the Jobless corner with one of my uncles (people who know my shagz know where this is) and we busy chatting the normal issues men talk about.
Then the pertinent issue pops and we delve into it.
An hour later I grow the balls and decide that that call is way overdue and its the time we make or break.
Me: Hi how are you?
Prime: Hi William how are you?
Me: I am alright and how about you?
Prime: I am easy no worries.
Me: Am glad, now, we need to hook up soonest we can, its not that glittering on this end.
Me: Alright cheers.(hangs up)
After am done I now tell my uncle that its sorted and we smile and shake hands about it.
The suspense and lack of details is intentional for now.
After the Monday meeting, I swear sleep has been coming more easily and more importantly is the growing tree, we are hoping to make it better and moreso with the help of Steve.
Steve is an amazing guy who has kept me in check most of the days I can remember. He is quite young and most importantly is that he is full of life; it flows in the genes you know!
For now we are digging into 2017 possibilities and the good thing is that we keep it positive.

One year later, Jubilee on the right track? Today marks the first anniversary of the Jubilee government tenure in office since the repeat polls in October 26, 2017. The goverment led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto was elected after the first poll was cancelled by Kenya's Supreme Court citing irregularities, and ordered a new one within 60 days. The election commission had declared incumbent Uhuru Kenyatta the winner by a margin of 1.4 million votes. Raila Odinga, Uhuru's opponent, said the commission was "rotten and demanded their resignation. President Uhuru would later in October clinch the seat with  7,483,895 votes out of the 7,616,217 valid votes cast. The Opposition however did not take part in the repeat poll as NASA supporters barred IEBC officials from delivering voting material and engaged police in running battles.
