Bodaboda riders causing havoc along Thika road. Tuesday 3, 2016 This is a date i am going to not only remember but also mark in the next 10 calendars. I experienced one of the craziest days and i can say that it was quite a lesson. One thing is for sure that i am a very lucky and blessed chap, very lucky. So i had a mid-morning breakfast with the lovely Lucy, huyu ni 'burnt' kapsaaa! She is a very lovely lady, great character and company, caught up on past days as we enjoyed a view of the city from my favourite place. (Yaani ata mimi niko na favourite place in the CBD). Later on i had lunch with my bro Steve (ule jamaa wa kukeep time hahaha), at the same place where i have done some of the best thinking, great innovations and ofcourse replied to serious whatsapp messages hehe..... Ruto is free! Lets vote for peace in 2017

Deputy President William Ruto and Radio Journalist Joshua Sanga are free men! Yes, their cases at the Hague collapsed on Tuesday. The ICC ruled on Tuesday that Ruto and Sang have no case to answer on the charges against humanity they were facing. All this started in the 2007/2008 post-election violence that left 1,200 dead and at least 600,000 displaced. Six Kenyans famously known as the 'Ocampo six' were charged with having led, or involved with the violence that shook Kenya to the core. The six were the then Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta, Former Industrialisation Minister Henry Kosgey, Former Education Minister William Ruto, Former Cabinet Secretary Francis Muthaura, radio journalist   Joshua Arap Sang and former police commissioner Ali Hussein . A nyway on Tuesday, Chief Registrar Helena Vukasinovic said Trial Chamber judges found no incriminating evidence to sustain the cases against the two and 'meddling'. We should not let politics of personality shape Muranga county

Image
Politics in Muranga seem to have started shaping as the country heads to the 2017 General elections. Political scheming and strategising has divided the county into two, Muranga South and Muranga North, visibly after the 2013 elections. The county, number 23, as of 2013 had about 457,052 registered votes with the south having a total of 284,950 and north 172,102 registered voters. From way back, Political negligence and arrogance, as well as inadequate attention to the people's socio-economic needs and demands have been identified as the main factors behind the ouster of leaders in the area. However, during the last elections, the whole county voted in the infamous 'suit' in that they largely voted for the Jubilee candidates. The election of Governor Mwangi wa iria, his deputy Gakure Monyo, Senator (Kembi Gitura) and Sabina Chege (women’s representative) seem to have been turning point of Muranga politics. All these leaders hail from Muranga North and th

Monday Night with Flo

Fingers of friends.Photo/Courtesy History will be re-written, but as that happens I will put a few words together. Monday afternoon was quite a busy day for me as I had errands to run plus to a point that I skipped lunch (Not so Prime-like) I am in a point in life where any decision I make is key and reflects on several I have overcome lots of stuff and more so managed to remain afloat. I however got some snack late evening before heading out to meet with the ever lovely and classy Florence. This lady and I have lots of great memories together, we laugh about some very lame jokes we drop on and of each other. things now and in the future. She also has a good heart and time spent with her is never a waste. Nowadays I like having coffee at Java Kimathi street because I love their coffee and service. So when I asked her to meet up at 7.30 she agreed, only to get before me there and sadly there was no seat. So she crossed over to Kaldis and got a table for two. I got there and after
