My favorite place is gone

Hugging the winds bye Picture/Courtesy

My favorite place is gone
The only place I have ever loved
The only place smoothened by my tears
Wind blowing my tears
My favorite place is gone

My young innocence never failed me
I saw people cry and laugh
Walked past without a care
But I grew to realize there is more to life
My favorite place is gone

With maturity comes understanding
Tears now have a meaning
Real laughter is appreciated
Closeness becomes a personal decision
My favorite place is gone

Now my favorite place is gone
I have no rock to stand on
Life took away the innocence
But I have my brat by me
My favorite place is gone.
